I’ve added five more seasons to the NFL ratings archive. Rankings are now available for every season from 1991 through 2025, giving the site 35 consecutive seasons of NFL history.

Each newly added season includes Power Ratings, Elo Ratings, Adjusted Scoring ratings for offense and defense, Quarterback Efficiency Ratings, and Scrimmage Performance Ratings for running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends.

Newly added NFL seasons

1995: Dallas wins its third title in four seasons

Dallas closed the season with a 27-17 victory over Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX. The Cowboys finished first in my Power Ratings and Adjusted Offense ratings, while Kansas City led the Adjusted Defense ratings.

Brett Favre leads the Quarterback Efficiency Ratings. The Scrimmage Performance Ratings are led by Emmitt Smith at running back, Curtis Conway at wide receiver, and Mark Chmura at tight end.

1994: San Francisco returns to the top

San Francisco defeated San Diego 49-26 in Super Bowl XXIX. The 49ers finished first in both my Power Ratings and Adjusted Offense ratings, while Cleveland ranked first in Adjusted Defense.

Steve Young tops the Quarterback Efficiency Ratings. The Scrimmage Performance Ratings are led by Barry Sanders at running back, Henry Ellard at wide receiver, and Brent Jones at tight end.

1993: Dallas repeats

Dallas earned its second consecutive championship with a 30-13 win over Buffalo in Super Bowl XXVIII. The Cowboys finished first in my Power Ratings and Adjusted Defense ratings, while San Francisco led the Adjusted Offense ratings.

Steve Young again leads the Quarterback Efficiency Ratings. The Scrimmage Performance Ratings are led by Emmitt Smith at running back, Jerry Rice at wide receiver, and Johnny Mitchell at tight end.

1992: Dallas begins a championship run

The Cowboys defeated Buffalo 52-17 in Super Bowl XXVII. Dallas finished first in both my Power Ratings and Adjusted Offense ratings, while New Orleans ranked first in Adjusted Defense.

1991: Washington leads across the board

Washington completed its championship season with a 37-24 victory over Buffalo in Super Bowl XXVI. Washington also finished first in my Power Ratings, Adjusted Offense ratings, and Adjusted Defense ratings.

Jim Kelly tops the Quarterback Efficiency Ratings. The Scrimmage Performance Ratings are led by Thurman Thomas at running back, Gary Clark at wide receiver, and Ethan Horton at tight end.
