Team Rankings
The Brewers remain my No. 1 team after going 4-2 during the week and increasing their run differential from +161 to +177. Milwaukee now holds a 3.97-point advantage over the Dodgers, who went 2-4 and remain second. Atlanta completed a perfect 6-0 week to match Los Angeles at 82-55 and close the gap in the ratings.
The Yankees move ahead of the Cubs for fourth, while Tampa Bay climbs one spot to sixth. Baltimore is the week’s biggest riser, jumping four places to No. 16. St. Louis makes the largest drop, falling three spots to No. 17.
These ratings are not just the standings. They account for run differential, opponent strength, and season-long performance. Tampa Bay has the same number of wins as Atlanta and one fewer loss, but the Braves rank three places higher because their +117 run differential is more than twice the Rays’ +54. Detroit is another example: the Tigers are 10 games below .500, but their +65 run differential keeps them at No. 12.

Milwaukee continues to be the most complete team in the league. The Brewers lead the pitching TOP rankings and rank sixth in batting TOP. The Dodgers also remain strong on both sides, ranking third in both batting and pitching.
Batting
The Cubs take over the top team batting ranking, edging Washington by only 0.001 TOP. The Dodgers remain third, followed by the Yankees and Pirates. Milwaukee holds onto sixth, while Colorado moves up one spot to seventh and Miami slips to ninth.
Pete Crow-Armstrong is the new No. 1 qualified hitter. His 0.672 TOP gives him the narrowest possible lead over Yordan Alvarez at 0.671. James Wood remains third, followed by Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber. Nick Kurtz moves up three places to sixth, while Junior Caminero, Ben Rice, CJ Abrams, and Jake Bauers complete the top 10.
TOP measures total bases accumulated per plate appearance. Expected runs converts those total bases into a simple run estimate, giving another way to compare offensive production across players and teams.

Pitching
The Brewers continue to lead the pitching rankings, followed by the Yankees and Dodgers. Detroit moves ahead of Boston for fourth, while Miami, Atlanta, Toronto, and Tampa Bay remain in the top nine. Pittsburgh enters the top 10 this week.
Jacob Misiorowski strengthens his hold on the top individual ranking. Opponents have accumulated only 171 total bases across 571 batters faced, lowering his TOP to 0.300. Chris Sale moves up to second, just ahead of Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Cam Schlittler remains fourth, and Drew Rasmussen climbs to fifth.
Parker Messick moves up two places to seventh, while Tarik Skubal climbs one spot to ninth. Cristopher Sánchez rounds out the top 10 after moving up two places.
