Ladies and Gentlemen. The Detroit Tigers are my number one ranked team this week. They are off to a fantastic start this season. They are folled by San Diego and the New York Mets. The Dodgers had a good week which propels them into the number four ranking. The Cleveland Guardians have a 20-14 record despite having a -23 run differential on the season. Something’s got to give with them. Same goes with the Athletics. A 19-16 record with a -22 run differential.

The bottom 5 remain the same. I think Baltimore will get something going at some point, but they are going to need better pitching. Paul Skenes could win the Cy Young Award and Oneil Cruz could be an MVP candidate and Pittsburgh might still lose 100 games. Colorado should be relegated along with the Angels and Marlins.

Aaron Judge is the best hitter in baseball. Pete Alonso continues to be the Mets most valuable player. Ohtani is heating up now. Schwarber still hits home runs and gets walked a lot. Most disappointing starts to the season: Bryce Harper #34, Elly De La Cruz #41, Juan Soto #47, Mike Trout #51, Mookie Betts #58, Francisco Lindor #59, Gunnar Henderson #76, Vlad Guerrero Jr. #91, Bo Bichette #122

Paul Skenes has his first real bad outing as a major league pitcher and falls all the way to number 23 in my pitcher rankings. It looks like the pitcher rankings will be pretty volatile but I think the cream of the crop will rise as the summer heats up.
