Batting
The Yankees, Dodgers and Nationals hold down the top three spots in hitting. The Pirates move up a spot to number four. The White Sox drop three spots this week, letting the Athletics and Cubs overtake them. The Twins move into my top 10 at the number eight spot. Both Milwaukee and Atlanta slide down this week to the nine and ten spots.
Yordan Alvarez continues to be the best offensive player, although he is coming back towards the rest of the field now. His lead has shrunk from 31 points to 25 points. Ben Rice has consistently maintained the number two ranking. Kyle Schwarber bounces around the top ten more than anybody I know. This week, he’s number three. Nick Kurtz continues his climb, and is number four this week. James Wood slipped three spots to number five this week.
