Eastern Conference Finals
I said last week the Knicks would beat the Cavaliers in six games. Boy was I wrong. The Knicks wasted no time. The Cavs blew a 22 point lead in the 4th quarter of game 1 and never recovered as the Knicks dominated them in the last three games to sweep the series. The Knicks are now in the finals for the first time since 1999 when they lost to the Spurs 4 games to 1.
Western Conference Finals
Last week, I said the series between the Thunder and the Spurs would go seven games. We’re even after the first four games. I still think it will come down to a game 7. The two best teams in the NBA are trading blows. I still think the referees will play a part in this. If the refs are active, I think the Thunder will win. If the refs swallow their whistles, I think the Spurs will win it.
