Austin beat #10 Abilene Christian. #12 Villanova upset #5 Lehigh. #4 Tarleton State defeated North Dakota. #11 South Dakota upsets #6 Mercer in a rout. #3 Montana beat #14 South Dakota State.

DII

We are down to the semifinals of the DII playoffs. #1 Kutztown defeated Frostburg St. #1 Ferris State beat Minnesota St. #3 Newberry knocked off #1 Albany State. #1 Harding beat UT Permian Basin.

#1 seed Ferris State faces #1 seed Kutztown this weekend. #1 seed Harding takes on #3 seed Newberry.

DIII

We are into the quarterfinals of the DIII playoffs. John Carroll advances to the quarterfinals after upsetting Mount Union. Berry defeated Trinity (TX). Wheaton defeated DePauw. UW-River Falls beat Saint John’s (MN). North Central defeated Wis.-La Crosse. Bethel defeated Wis.-Platteville. Susquehanna defeated Eastern. Johns Hopkins defeated Salisbury.

Looking at this week’s quarterfinals matchups, #1 ranked North Central faces #2 Bethel. They are the only undefeated teams left in DIII this year. Who set up this bracket for them to meet in the quarterfinals? Shame. #3 UW-River Falls takes on #16 Wheaton. #10 Johns Hopkins faces #23 Susquehanna and #12 John Carroll takes on #19 Berry.
